Media: Buzz60 Clothing retail company Bebe Stores Inc., based in Brisbane, California, announced on Friday that it is planning to close all of its stores in less than six weeks, by the end of May 2017. The news comes not long after Bloomberg published a report stating that the company would be reworking its business plan to make a transition into solely an online brand in order to avoid filing for bankruptcy. It has recorded four years of profit loss. The company will be liquidating its stock at its roughly 180 brick and mortar locations around the U.S., according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing .
